Abstract: Soil transmitted parasites are known common chronic human infection globally that has been recognized to be of public health importance majorly in developing countries, including Nigeria. This study was conducted within the University College Hospital, Ibadan to determine the prevalence of intestinal parasites in soil samples from 10 selected dumpsites within the hospital. A total of 200 top soil samples were collected from ten selected dumpsites within the University College Hospital, (U.C.H.) Ibadan, Oyo State, for macroscopic and microscopic examination using a descriptive cross-sectional study approach. The result recorded a high prevalence of parasites in the study sites. Of the 200 soil samples examined, 122 (61.0%) soil samples were positive for one or more parasites, and these included; Hookwork 60 (49.2%), Strongyloide Stercoralis 14 (11.5%), Trichomonas hominis 44(36.1%); Gardia lambia 1(.8%); Balantidium coli 2(1.6%) and ova of Ascaris lumbricoides 1(0.8%). The result also indicated the dictates of seasonal variation in the prevalence of parasites in the examined soil samples. It further showed that refuse dump sites located in different parts of the University College Hospital (UCH) poses great public health challenge to the population. The study therefore recommends that environmental and public health awareness should be intensified and scavengers and dumpsite workers should be encouraged to use personal protective gears at the sites, to reduce the risk of parasitic infestation and exposure to contracting parasitic larval in the soil, which has a resultant short and long term health effects.

Abstract: The climate of Argentina is a complex subject. Argentina has winter, spring, summer and autumn seasons. Surface and ground water resources are also available in the Argentina. Summer rains are intense and torrential rain is common. Because of its geographical characteristics, the country is exposed to natural disasters such as earth quakes, severe storms, volcanic eruptions, and climatic changes. Argentina is a country exposed to many natural disasters, it lies south of the equator making for various different weather conditions winter months consist of droughts while summer months consist of various storms and tornadoes. Due to extreme changes in climate through the year Argentina gets hit with a lot of natural disasters. Some of these natural disasters include floods, extreme temperatures, earth quakes, droughts, floods and tornados. Mining in Argentina is an important regional producer of minerals including Aluminum, lead, copper, zinc, silver and gold etc. Keeping in view of all the above facts of climate and natural hazards of the Argentina, I have conducted many comprehensive studies on the Argentina climate and natural calamities combined with my researches and proposed the Argentina Monsoon Time Scale, and Argentina National Geoscope Project along with the other scientific results Argentina Weather Time scale, Bioforecast effect, Irlapatism-A New Hypothetical Model of Cosmology etc which can help to estimate the impending weather conditions and natural hazards of the country in advance to take mitigation measures and save the people, crops and other assets. For example-

By setting up the Argentina National Geoscope Project and maintain, the country can be predicted the impending earthquakes, volcanic hazards(and storm surges, tsunamis etc consequence secondary hazards due to the earthquakes occur in the womb that means underground of the sea or ocean if the country have the chances of occurring of these disasters) in advance.

By setting up the Argentina National Geoscope Project and maintain, the country can be predicted the earth’s underground resources like metallic resources such as iron, gold, silver, tin, copper, nickel, aluminum, chromium etc mine sites and non-metallic resources like sand gravel, gypsum, halite, uranium, dimension stones, etc. can be found by inserting many kinds of super high remote sensing technology in the area of sensor physics, signal processing used specially image processing, electromagnetic detection technology and geophysical deep underground detectors and mineral exploration equipments, natural gas sensors etc in the underground of the Argentina through the Geoscope.

Setting up the Argentina National Geoscope Project and maintain will also be useful in emerging industries such as geothermal and geo-sequestration etc.

By establishing the Argentina Monsoon Time Scale and maintain, the country can be estimated the impending weather conditions and natural calamities like rains, floods, landslides, avalanches, blizzard, droughts, extreme winter conditions, heavy rainfall, mudflows, extreme weather, cyclones, cloud bursts, sand storms, hails, and winds etc in advance. Surface water resources in advance.

The importance of Adult Learning Principles

Abstract: Good assessment is a collaborative process involving the assessor, learners and others, where appropriate. Your assessment process should be transparent and allow for ongoing feedback from and to the learners. Remember these adult learners want to improve their skills in managing money and are not necessarily interested in formal recognition or being ranked against their peers in the group. Where possible, presenters should emphasize from the start that no-one is going to ‘fail’ the program. Even where students are seeking formal certification of their achievement, presenters can advise that there is no competition between the learners in the group or between an individual and the topic material – it’s all achievable and everyone can make it work for them. Your program should employ methodologies so that your trainers establish a friendly, open atmosphere that shows the participants they will help them learn rather than present as ‘experts’ imparting knowledge. No-one engages well with a trainer/teacher who is just ‘showing off’ what they know. Financial services have a plethora of jargon and complicated ideas that can put many lay people off. Exposing this sort of terminology and explaining it in simple terms – or deciding whether some of it needs exposure at all – is paramount to keeping your learner’s trust and interest.

Abstract: There are many reports particularly from developed countries that show a relationship between socioeconomic status and health of individuals. Among a wide range of socioeconomic variables it seems that income, education, and occupation are more important factors that might change health of people. Many of studies carried out to assess the relationship between socioeconomic status and health status focused on narrow health indicators that measure a single feature of health status such as morbidity and mortality. In this study we employed a specific instrument of quality of life measurement (LEIPAD) to measure the quality of life of elderly people. It was a cross-sectional study carried out in rural area of Sari the capital city of Mezandaran province. A sample of 130 elderly people over 60 years from both sex were interviewed on their doorsteps randomly. Inferential statistics and ANOVA were used to analyze the data using SPSS software package. The quality of life of respondents in overall was better on core scales than moderator scales. Among domains of core scales, physical functioning scale and social functioning scale had better status. Among socioeconomic variables age, marital status, income and literacy had significantly affected the quality of life of elderly people both in terms of core and moderator scales. It is recommended that appropriate intervention needs to assist vulnerable groups particularly elderly people in rural area to improve the quality of their life.

In the Name of the Illustrator of Universe Illustration of Events in Mongol Period Painting

Ahmad Jolaei

Faculty member and former Manager of Art Department in Boushehr University
Department of art and architecture, Dashtestan branch,Islamic Azad university, Dashtestan, Iran

Abstract: As it will be explained in the paper, event has various meaning in Persian language, such as happening, accidents… which is initiated when its primary conditions of factors are provided and as in each course, it is exclusive, its end and conclusion is not known. In another word, while the end has not come, the finishing point of the event could not be known; as, if two events have the same start and end, they will be repeated and predicted subject and accident. Now, if this phenomenon is selected by painter or imager as a subject for creating artistic piece, naturally its (subjective) aspect will have priority over other factors. Even in some instances as accidents happen with acceleration and most often without preparation of heart, that acceleration is evident for the end of work for some pieces of painter; a mode which is mostly specified to impression painters. On the other hand it differs in a painting piece when the painter is affected and under its passion conditions and pays particular attention to aesthetic element based on his taste and school of work. In another word, in picturing and painting, the subject of the work serves as the basis and foundation of the artist’s image and all factors gather in serving the expression of subject. Nonetheless, in painting, the painter most often emphasizes on expressing the inner and concealed passion of human soul, of course in a beautiful shape and observing the principles of aesthetic. By searching in painting and imaging of Mongol period, while perceiving and receiving those events and subjects of painting, various divisions could be categorized: time division, location division or for work method…including the three major classes that is, 1. Mythological, epic events, 2. Events of the religious saints, prophets, kings and noblemen of their time, 3. Cultural, social events, ordinary people and folks. Those works have been created to serve a painting order, necessity and/or the taste of painters in the time spin and location domination (ruling territory) of Moguls. There are paintings that could have been read in texts, heard from witnesses or eyewitnesses by painters and imagers. This characteristics goes as far as there might be some samples which have been created in the limit of a mere news picture and as a supplement of a written paper or book illustration, a written that glances to a mythical, epic and/or historical context from social, political, cultural…window.
