Abstract: The present papers deals with 35 plants species, belonging to 34 genera and 25 families, being used by Kol tribe in Satna district, Madhya Pradesh. The plants are generally used as stomach disorders, skin diseases, aphrodisiacs, fever, tonic, ulcer, asthma, snake-bite, stomach disorder, pneumonia, piles, gynecological disorders, cough, eye disease, heart disease, arthritis, rheumatism, and diabetes.

Utilization of dried gooseberry in high nutritional value bakery products

Abstract: Gooseberry (Physalis peruviana, L) has been cultivated in Egypt, India, South Africa, Australia, and England and because of its high antioxidants and fiber, was found to have substantial health benefits. The plant is relatively adaptable to a broad variety of soils and good crops are produced on poor sandy soil. The chemical composition, sensory evaluation color, texture, flavor, taste, and overall acceptability were determined. For various traits, the average scores of all the panelists were computed. Attributes of fresh and dried raisin and spices gooseberry fruits were evaluated. The dry matter, pH, total soluble solids, moisture, protein, oil, ash, dry matter, fiber ascorbic acid, antioxidant activity carbohydrate, water-soluble antioxidant phenolic, flavonoids, respectively. Raisin gooseberry Four temperatures were investigated drying Processing time varied between 5-10 hours After processing, and raisin gooseberry with control, 40°C, 50°C, 60°C and 70°C ratios were found highly significant content and color data represented as L*, a*, b*. Moreover, preparation of cookies from raisin gooseberry at levels 5, 10, 15, 20%, respectively, and the sensory properties were evaluated It could be concluded that the gooseberry (Physalis peruviana, L.) can be considered a good source of vitamin C, total phenolic content, flavonoids compounds, and antioxidant activity. The gooseberry was used to formulate some important bakery product like cookies were prepared from raisin gooseberry at level 5, 10, 15, and 20%. The organoleptic properties reported that the raisin gooseberry was added to wheat flour up to 15% to give the best cookies safety and high nutritional value.

Intradialytic Blood Pressure Dysregulation: Frequency and Risk Factors among Hemodialysis Patients at Mansoura University Hospital

Abstract: Background: Intradialytic blood pressure dysregulation (IDBPD), comprising intradialytic hypotension (IDH) and intradialytic hypertension (IDHTN), is a well-recognized hemodialysis (HD) complication. However, their frequency, risk factors and clinical impact have only been scarcely examined. Aim of the study: is to determine the frequency of IDBPD and its associated risk factors among HD patients. Methods: Fifty-two ESRD patients on regular HD (mean age 43.10 ± 14.80 years, 61.5% males) were observed for occurrence of IDH or IDHTN for three months. Patients' demographic data and co-morbid conditions were recorded. Symptomatology during the attacks, and any mechanical, clinical or pharmacological interventions were also observed. Results: Of the total observed sessions, IDH occurred in 5.6% and clinical symptoms & intervention occurred were noted in 69% & 71%, of sessions with IDH, respectively, while IDHTN occurred in 12%; associated symptoms and intervention occurred in 62% & 71% of sessions with IDTHN, respectively. Female gender was a risk factor for both types of dysregulation. Background hypotension, was significantly associated with occurrence of IDH with relative risk of 9.27, while background hypertension was significantly associated IDHTN with a relative risk of 6.93. Conclusion: IDBPD was frequently encountered in the studied population and their frequency increased as sessions progressed. IDHTN was commoner than IDH; although the latter was attended with more symptoms. Females are more prone to IDBPD, and background hypotension was a risk factor for IDH, while background hypertension was a risk for IDHTN. Further research is needed to find out means for protection against such devastating problem.

Abstract: The modern condition of the desert and semi-desert pastures of Uzbekistan is characterized by a progressive deterioration in the productivity and quality of feed. By now, over 260 species of fodder plants from the natural flora have been tested and more than 30 promising shrubs distinguished by their productivity and high adaptability to extreme desert conditions have been isolated. In this case, a comparative ecological and biological study of the most important species of forage shrubs is of particular relevance, making it possible to select the most promising species, varieties of arid fodder plants for reclamation of pasture in the foothill semi-desert of Uzbekistan. This is urgent task of our scientific work, representing the result of six years of research on the comparative study and assessment of various types of shrubs in the foothill semi-desert of Uzbekistan.

An Analytical Study of The Competitive Ability of the Egyptian Agricultural Exports of Some Vegetables and Fruit Crops in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Market

Abstract: Agricultural trade is essential for growth, poverty reduction, and provide currency to achieve the economic development in Egypt, Egyptian agricultural exports suffer from the low market share in the Saudi market, which indicates the weak competitiveness of Egyptian agricultural exports of products, such as onions, grapes and oranges. Therefore, the primary objectives of this research were to identify and analyze the competitiveness and the potentials of Egypt’s three main agricultural export commodities "onions, grapes and oranges". through studying the current situation in the World and in the Saudi Arabia market and study the most important factors effecting its competitiveness capabilities in the in Saudi Arabia market, To achieve the research objectives, the research used descriptive and analytical statistical methods, The results revealed that Although Egypt suffers from limited water resources, Egypt has a comparative advantage to produce some fruits and vegetables, especially during the off-season periods, on the other hand, Egypt doesn’t have good export competitiveness, due to the lack of accurate data about the actual cultivated area and production, and hence the inaccuracy in estimating the surplus for export, lack of marketing researches on the foreign markets, the lack of promotional programs. Additionally To increase our export base in international markets and KSA market the research results had recommended that: Establishment of accurate and a comprehensive database for the Egyptian Agricultural exported products and share this information with producers, in addition to studying the major and promising markets to Egyptian of Agricultural exported products, Attracts foreign direct investment to support the competitiveness of Egyptian Agricultural exports.

Abstract: Lead exposure is achieved through various environmental issues including diet and marine food intake. It exist in several forms that varies in their toxicity degrees and rate of absorption. Lead change the body homeostasis by several oxidative stress mechanisms that affect the whole body, mainly the mitochondria and red blood cells, resulting with anemia and several degrees of toxicity. This review search the available literature, to shed the light on lead contamination sources, Pb chemical forms, absorption routs, and attempts to elucidate the mechanism of action of lead and consequent haematological manifestations of lead toxicity and the factors that affect it, mainly the dietary factors that may be a source of contamination or an approach for treatments. In conclusion the chronic exposure to lead can result in a severe alterations that may be reduced by consuming healthy diets, rich in fiber, vitamins, antioxidants, sufficient calcium and iron which can decrease lead absorption or manage the cell injury result from its toxicity.

Seroprevalence and Risk Factors of Small Ruminant Brucellosis in Ambo, Adea and Fentale Districts of Oromia Regional State, Central Ethiopia

Abstract: A retrospective study design was employed on previously collected sera samples to investigate brucellosis in small ruminant from December 2011 to March 2012 with the objectives of estimating the seroprevalence and potential risk factors for the occurrence of brucellosis in sheep and goats in selected district; Ambo, Adea and Fentale. A total of 2070 sera samples (1119 sheep and 951 goats) were tested using serological tests, screening by RBPT and confirmatory test CFT, The seroprevalence of brucellosis was calculated as the number in study population testing positive to the serological test divided by the total study units tested. The overall seroprevalence of 4.97%, 3%, and 4.05% respectively. Data including serological test result and earlier collected questionnaire survey were recorded and coded in Microsoft Excel spread sheets and then statistically analyzed using (stata tm 11.0) to determine the strength of potential risk factors associated with the occurrence of brucellosis by using univariable logistic regression. Mixed flock OR=2.11(1.33-3.36 CI; p=0.002), agro-pastoral OR=4.01 (2.35-6.84CI; p=0.000) and pastoral OR=2.59(1.37-4.90 CI; p=0004) production system, larger flock size OR=1.68 (1.08-2.60CI; p=0.021) were factors significantly affecting the prevalence of small ruminant brucellosis. By considering collinearity of variables, p<0.25 in univariable analysis and independent predictors of small ruminant brucellosis were further analyzed using multilogistic regression. Enhancing growth and dry seed production in peas (Pisum sativum L) by using new kinds of foliar phosphate fertilizers

Abstract: The current investigation was carried out at Qaha Vegetable Research Farm (Qalubia Governorate), Horticulture Research Institute, Agriculture Research Center (A. R. C.), Egypt, during the two consecutive winter seasons of 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 to study the influence of some phosphorus sources; mono potassium phosphate (MKP) (KH2PO4) at 3 and 6 g /L, mono ammonium phosphate (MAP) (NH4H2PO4) at 5 and 10 g /L, urea phosphate (UP) [CO (NH3)2PO4] at 5 and 10 g /L and calcium superphosphate (SP) at 10 and 20 g /L on growth, dry seed yield and its components as well as the chemical constituents of pea (Pisum sativum L.) cv. Master B. The experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block design with three replications. Seeds were sown on the 2nd week in October during the two winter seasons. The results mentioned that all foliar spraying with phosphorus sources significantly increased vegetative growth characteristics, dry seed yield and its components and chemical constituents in dry seeds as well as seed quality. Whereas, the superior treatment was obtained by foliar spraying with mono ammonium phosphate (MAP) at 5 or 10 g /L which markedly improved most of the studied characters and led to high a significant increased of all studied parameters under these conditions followed by foliar spraying with mono potassium phosphate (MKP) at 3 or 6 g /L, as compared with the other treated or the control calcium superphosphate (SP).

Impulsive Response of Damped Harmonic Oscillator Via Fourier Transform

Abstract: In this work, the impulsive response of the lightly damped harmonic oscillator was obtained by utilizing Fourier transform. The impulsive response was used to define the velocity, acceleration and mechanical energy of the lightly damped harmonic oscillator having Dirac delta function as damping force function. The theory of this lightly damped harmonic oscillator was extended to an overdamped harmonic oscillator with same damping force function (impulse function). The velocity, acceleration and mechanical energy for an overdamped oscillator has been also discussed. Fourier transform was used to reduce the repeated use of the initial boundary value conditions for ordinary differential equation consisting impulse function. Application of Fourier transform related to translated impluse function has been developed in this process.
