Abstract: This study was done in North wollo Zone, Ethiopia, from March 2018 to June 2018 to assess the knowledge and their practice to prevention of the disease in the area of study. Cross-sectional study design and multistage sampling procedures were employed to select households for this study. The data were collected from 785 households using pretested and structured questionnaires. Interviewer administered structured and pre-tested questionnaire was used to collect socio-demographic, knowledge and practice for prevention of rabies and related variables. Data entry was done using Epi info version 7statistical software. SPSS version 20 soft ware were used for data analysis. Both binary and multiple logistic regressions were fitted. P-value with 95%CI was used and p-value < 0.05 were declared the significant association between knowledge and practice on rabies prevention and its associated factors. A total of 806 respondents were selected with 97.4% (785) response rate. Among those, 785 respondents 671(85.5%) of them were males and 114(14.5%) were female. Respondent that had good awareness about rabies had more likely good knowledge than that of respondent that had low rabies awareness (AOR=4.45, 95%CI: 1.068-18.580). Respondents that did not use post exposure prophylaxis were 0.002 times unlikely less than that of respondents with good practice that used PEP. (AOR=0.002, 0.001-0.019:, 0.001).

Abstract: The membranes used here as templates were of Makrofol KG foil (polycarbonate from Bayer AG), 10 µm thick, having an average pore diameter ~2 µm with pore density 2 × 106 cm-2. This was prepared by irradiating the foil with Si8+, energy ca. 100 MeV at 900 at the GPSC of the Pelletron at the IUAC, New Delhi, India, followed by chemical amplification of the damage trails by etching in 6 N NaOH, at 50±20 C for 35 min. SEM photograph displaying the top view of the synthesized microstructures. Earlier it has been reported that if the dimensions of the pores were small, it would suppress the fractal like cauliflower morphology, which is a usual feature in electrodeposited II–VI materials (Klein et al 1993). In the present case, a close view of the microstructures depicting the typical cauliflower morphology of the synthesized CdS microstructures is obtained. In order to fabricate CdS nanowires in AAMs, the cathode of the two-electrode deposition cell was closely covered with gold coated AAMs. The cathode was made highly smooth and the electrolyte and deposition conditions were maintained same as described for deposition through TEMs.

Abstract: Ayurveda has formulated tonics, healthcare supplements and such other health care products for prenatal, post natal and neonatal care and to ensure reproductive health. Ayurveda Treatment describes the process of life as a highly dynamic one where the different functions in the body are harmoniously integrated. This harmony has to be preserved for a person to be healthy and requires some basic factors like proper diet, proper balance of mental and physical rest and activity, adaptations to changes in the environment etc. Even in spite of taking care of all these factors, certain factors like the genetic make-up of a person, micro-organisms, exposure to harmful and poisonous substances in-advertently or otherwise, and aging etc tend to skew the equilibrium disrupting certain functions in the body. Herbs can be used in accordance to the Doshas involved. In a Vatik cycle mainly Dasamoola can do its work of pacifying Vata dosha. Ginger is another drug which helps in a Vatik flow with discomfort. Herbs can really help in Pitta flow mainly. Asoka tones the uterus and thus eases a heavy flow. Satavari, Amalaki, Gudoochi, Kumari, Brahmi etc are useful drugs in a Paittik flow as they are very famous for their Pitta pacifying action. Spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper etc are useful in case of a Kaphaja cycle due to their Agni stimulating action. Castor oil pack due to its warm and penetrating quality can break up the stagnation latent in the pelvis. Paying an eye on the characteristics of menstruation will bring into light the Dosha which is predominant in that cycle. That may also be depending on the Prakruthi of the individual.

Abstract: The concept of “welfare state” essentially requires the instrumentality of government to undertake such initiatives which not only furthers the common goals of the citizens but also such other actions that particularly targets that group which has been long deprived of from the counting of these “common goals”. It is for this purpose that the idea of equality enshrined under the Constitution of India does not inculcate the basic understanding of the English term but necessitates such meaning which fulfils its real purpose. Following the same, India has time and again taken various steps for providing education those who are the real victims of social (such as caste), economical and other evils. This, in turn, requires the fulfillment of Constitutional obligations by taking appropriate measure such as reservation policy. The Indian Legislature has, therefore, marked its step by furthering the idea of equal opportunity of education to all. This paper, therefore, is an attempt to lay out the entire scenario as to how the “welfare state” fulfills its obligation under the Constitutional mandate which certainly targets the roots of discrimination. It is also showed that how the reservation policy in the area of higher education in India has benefitted the national interest and undermined the institutions such as of caste. The equality and non-discrimination debate is also debated upon extensively in the light of recent amendment.

Abstract: Using space-time ring we establish the mathematical theory of space-time with subluminal and superluminal coexistence (SASC) and ILS [1]. We discover SASC to rewrite the physics and cosmology. Using two methods we deduce the new gravitational formula. Tardyonic rotating motion produces the centrifugal force, but tachyonic rotating motion produces the centripetal force, that is gravity. Using it we establish the expansion theory of the universe and suggest the new universe model. We prove that in the universe there are no dark matter and no dark energy. New gravitational formula changes all that. Multiverse and gravitational waves do not exist. Theory of everything has the two forces: (1) the subluminal force (electromagnetism and weak force) and (2) superluminal force (gravity and strong force). We prove that equivalence principle does not exist.

Abstract: Monsoon means a seasonal reversing wind accompanied by its corresponding weather changes and natural calamaties in precipitation. We cannot be said that a monsoon especially to be relevant to a particular continent, region or country. Each and every continent or region or country has its own monsoon winds. Many researches were being conducted by me on the global monsoon systems from 1980 to till date with an ideal to invent the mysteries of the world global monsoon system and formulating the basics of the global monsoon time scales to study to the past’s, present and future movements of global monsoons and its relationship with rainfall and other weather problem and natural calamities such as rains, floods, landslides, avalanches, blizzard and droughts, extreme winter conditions, heavy rainfall, mudflows, extreme weather, cyclones, cloud burst, sand storms, hails and winds etc in advance. Indian monsoon is a key system in global monsoon systems. I have conducted many scientific researches on the global monsoon systems and as a part these researches I invented the Indian Monsoon Time Scale which can help to study the past, present and future movements of the Indian monsoon.

Abstract: The study was conducted in selected districts of south Gondar zone, Amhara Region, to assess the comparative performance of local and crossbred cattle in different production systems and determine factors affecting the performance of local and crossbred cattle in Estie, Farta and Simada districts. A total of 180 dairy cow owners were randomly selected and interviewed to obtain information on reproductive and productive performance of cows. A structured and semi structured questionnaires were used. Descriptive statistics were employed to summarize the data and means were compared statistically using the GLM of SAS version 9.1 and SPSS version 20.0, 2011. Daily milk yield (DMY) in crossbred cows was 6.16±1.29, 5.37±2.06 and 3.74±1.61 liters in urban, peri-urban and rural production systems, respectively. The average value of DMY in locals was 2.32±1.29, 1.42±0.68 and 1.10±0.77 liters in urban, peri-urban and rural production systems, respectively. Lactation length (LL) in crosses was 10.33±2.31, 14.07±4.22 and 10.56±2.47 months in urban, peri-urban and rural production systems, respectively. While in locals, LL was 9.11±2.67, and 9.95±3.30 and 9.02±2.17 months in urban, peri-urban and rural production systems, respectively. The average values of age at first service (AFS), calving interval (CI), number of services per conception (NSC) and days open (DO) of local cows were 50.48±12.26, 701.80±275.36 days, and 1.80±1.25and 344.7±283.2 days, respectively. While in crosses the average values of AFS, CI, NSC and DO were 33.21±13.31, and 637.44±203.95 days, 1.90±1.49, and 222.3±127.8 days, respectively. The main constraints were shortage of feed and grazing land, disease and poor extension service in terms of credit schemes, supply of improved dairy breeds, accessibility to AI/bull service and veterinary services. Farmers and government officials do interactively to alleviate the problems.
