Abstract: David Herbert Lawrence (1885-1930) was born at Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. He was the son of a miner and was educated at Nottingham University College where he qualified as a teacher. He taught at Croydon till 1913, when he had to resign because of his illness. Henceforth, he devoted himself to literature. He wrote poetry, but it is for his novels, mostly autobiographical, that he came into prominence. His personal experience which went into the formation of his novels is in itself an indication that Lawrence believed in the emotive aspect of literature which eventually came in for adverse criticism but his greatness lies in giving a touch of romantic nostalgia over the loss of age-old communal values, resulting in the loss of human relationship. That is why he was rejected for what Wimsatt and Beardsley would call 'effective fallacy' of literature.

A INTRODUCTORY STUDY OF GENDER DIFFERENCES IN SIS CORRELATES OF CREATIVITY

Dr. Manju Antil

Counseling Psychologist, Sonipat, Haryana (India)

Email- manjuantil26@gmail.com

Abstract: discusses the component creative activities (imaging, relaxation visualization sociodrama, and play) and how they sit together in the relationship between mental activity and physical well-being. Through play, people are free to explore alternatives that can give them insights into their personal temperaments, emotional reactions, and unconscious motivations. Perhaps the most valuable aspect of imaginative play is that it fosters creativity. As a person grows psychologically and copes with his/her changing environment and self, creativity is called into play. Creative activities offer people the opportunities to communicate with each other and themselves. Valuing and developing one's creativity raises one's level of wellness. Wellness involves the physical and mental health of an individual, positive future images and true communication with oneself and others.

Abstract: The present study was conducted in the year 2021 to find out the impact of Air pollutants on the light absorption of Mangifera indica and Dalbergia sissoo. Total Chlorophyll content was also assessed of leaves samples collected from the selected study sites. The selected study sites were quite different in terms of pollutant exposure due to the different activities round the clock. A decrease in the amount of light absorption in case of selected trees was seen in higher polluted site as compared to non or less polluted area.

Abstract: On 16 June 2022, India hosted the Special ASEAN-India Foreign Ministers Meeting. The occasion also marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue relations between India and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and 10 years since the development of their strategic partnership. The leaders called for greater emphasis on trade growth, investment enhancement, defence and security, physical and digital connectivity, climate and sustainability action and greater exchanges among their citizens. At the same time, they exchanged views on developments in the region and elsewhere. This paper argues that despite the tremendous progress made in the last few decades in forging ties between ASEAN and India, their relations are not at their optimal. The two sides have challenges, but these are surmountable. Both ASEAN and India must take proactive approaches to ensure a brighter bilateral future.

PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL LANDSCAPE RELATED TO A PASSAGE TO INDIA: RUDYARD KIPLING AND EDWARD MORGAN FORSTER

Dr. Dikshita Pattar

Email- pattardikshita@gmail.com

Abstract: Rudyard Kipling called his superb master-piece Kim as most ambitious work on India. Maria Couto evaluates this novel in his outstanding article "Rudyard Kipling". He describes Kim as the first novel in the English language with an Indian theme, but also a one of the greatest English novels in spite of the theme Kipling's evocation of Indian People's habits, language, and distinctive ways of thought has led to recent critical debate on Kim as the a apogee of the kind of orientalism which suggests that the Englishman could meet the orient on its own terms and outwit. The best realised characters are Indian, with Kim as one of them, a fact which is used to illustrate the point that Kipling not only wrote about India but belonged to India. Yet the novel is not free from stereotypes. The oriental lack of sense of time, 'the happy Asiatic disorder', and the oriental's disregard for noise and his ability to lie, are instances of it. In Kim, the Indian Westerner recreates his own consciousness of Indian life, in a visual and aural evocation of man and nature amid the bustling and shouting, the bucking of belts, and beatings of cows or bullocks, creaking wheels, and bright fires, when India was awake and Kim in the middle of it, more awake and more excited than any one.

Abstract: Hindi played an important role in the freedom movement of India. Mahatma Gandhi was a Gujarati, C. Rajagopalachari was a Madrasi, great philosophers and revolutionaries like Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar and Devi Prasad Chattopadhyay were Bengali, similarly revolutionaries from different provinces of the country engulfed themselves in the freedom movement. He chose Hindi to take the message of independence to the people across the country. Intellectuals working towards nation building are of the opinion that all regional dialects should be mutually respected. Everyone should be unanimous that Hindi is the elder sister of all regional languages. The country can be made more powerful by giving more power to Hindi. Scholars working for Hindi have shared their views.
