Abstract: This investigation was conducted to study the effect of some bio-regulators, tryptophan, cysteine, thiamine, ascorbic acid and yeast extract on growth, yield and its components and some chemical constituents of some wheat varieties; Sakha93, Gemiza7 and Gemiza9 under newly cultivated land conditions. For this purpose two field experiments were carried out during two successive growing seasons (2008\2009 and 2009\2010) at the experimental farm of National Research Center at Nubaria, Egypt. Results revealed that foliar application of different applied growth bio-regulating substances, with different concentrations, significantly increased all growth criteria, plant height, number of tillers and leaves per plant, fresh and dry weight of plant. Grain and straw yield of wheat plants and yield components were also significantly increased as result of foliar application of the used bio-regulators. On the other hand Gemiza-7 variety was most effective of all characters under study compared with the other two varieties Gemiza-9 and Sakha-93.

Abstract: Leaf extracts of the medicinal euphorbious plants Codiaeum variegatum and Croton tiglium were tested as molluscicides in natural ponds against the freshwater snail Lymnaea acuminata and Indoplanorbis exustuus. The molluscicidal activity of leaf extracts of both the plants was time and dose dependent at all the exposure periods. A significant negative correlation between LC values of leaf extracts and exposure periods existed, thus LC50 values decreased from 434.79 mg/L (24h) to 212.04 mg/L (96h) and 497.65 mg/L (24h) to 224.15 mg/L (96h), respectively against Lymnaea acuminata and 338.74 mg/L (24h) to 130.30 mg/L (96h) and 410.86 mg/L (24h) to 207.72 mg/L (96h) respectively against Indoplanorbis exustus. Both the snails are intermediate host of trematode Fasciola hepatica, which causes endemic fascioliasis in cattle and live-stock in northern part of India. The leaf of both the euphorbious plants may probably be used as potent ecofriendly molluscicides in natural ponds for managing the harmful snail population. Non-target freshwater fish Channa punctatuus (which share the habitat with these snails) the extract of both plants are at higher doses were also lethal, but the doses LC90 (24h) of snails are safe for fish.

Abstract: A field work was conducted to provide an updated distribution of mosses in Ekiti State, Nigeria. Mosses were collected from different substrates in three towns in the state. The towns include Ado Ekiti, Ikere Ekiti and Ifaki Ekiti. Each moss species was critically observed and identified based on their growth forms and morphological characters. Out of 69 samples collected, 8 species were obtained. They include Calymperes erosum C. Mull, Bryum coronatum SCHWAEGR, Barbula lambaranensis C.Mull, Thudium gratum (P. Beauv) Jaeg., Neckoropsis foveolata MITT. Broth & Par., Hyophila excurrentinervis Par. & Broth, Philonotis hastata (Duby) Wisk and Marg. and Racopilum africanum MITT. The species were distributed among 4 different substrates namely: barks of palm trees, forest floors (loamy soils) fallen / decaying logs of wood and sandcrete materials. Calymperes erosum and Racopilum africanum were found growing on barks of palm trees only, Barbula lambaranensis and Hyophila excurrentinervis were found growing on sandcrete materials only while Philonotis hastata was found growing on loamy soils in forest floors only. Other species were distributed between a maximum of two substrates. This indicates that mosses require specific substrates for occurrence or growth.

Abstract: In a knowledge-based organization, where, knowledge forms a large part of the amount and quality of organization's profitability, traditional accounting methods, which are based on tangible assets and information of previous operations of the organization, are incapable of valuing intellectual capital as their most valuable assets. Therefore, the intellectual capital approach is the most comprehensive for organizations who want to know their profitability capacities better. The fundamental importance of this study is the lack of intellectual capital items in the financial statements of the companies as well as a huge gap between book value and market value. In the past, tangible assets had higher importance but today, large part of organizations’ assets are intangible assets thus, in today's economy, organizations success depend on the way of managing these assets. Results confirmed that It is worth mentioning that, in developing countries, unlike developed countries, local markets are valued by physical capital rather intellectual capital and they are less depend on IC as an strategy. One reasons for this is that, they are still depend on trading and processing of natural resources as a fundamental growth strategy.

Abstract: Nizami Ganjavi’s view about wisdom and passion is closely related to heavenly calls. Nizami believes that he changed his mind from focusing on wisdom and preaching to Passion Letter under the influence of heavenly calls. But is heavenly call the only inner voice which causes him to compose Khosrow-o-Shirin after compilation of Makhzan-ol-Asrar or other factors are also effective in this mind change? From the analytical psychology’s view, subconscious is a driving force which directs many actions of human beings. In this way, Nizami’s subconscious has an important role in his mind change from Makhzan-ol-Asrar to Khosrow-o-Shirin and it cannot be ignored. Unconsciously, Nizami tries to achieve the public acceptance and the desire, of course, causes him to feel guilty. To diminish such pressures, he turns to Soroush and Hatif and their heavenly calls. Thus, Nizami’s unconscious desire finds a close association with heavenly calls.

Abstract: The current research intends to study the possibility of producing fiber recycled self-compacting concrete (FRSCC) using demolitions as a coarse aggregate (crushed red brick and crushed ceramic). Polypropylene fibers were used in recycled self-compacting concrete (RSCC) to improve fresh and hardened properties of this type of concrete. Thirty one concrete mixes were prepared to achieve the aim proposed in this paper. Polypropylene fiber volume fraction varied from 0 to 1.5% of the volume of concrete with aspect ratio 12.5. The fresh properties of FRSCC were evaluated using slump flow, J-ring and V-funnel tests. Compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength and density tests were performed in order to investigate mechanical properties. The optimum volume fraction of polypropylene fibers was 0.19% and 0.75% for the mixes contained crushed red break broken and ceramic as a coarse aggregate respectively. At optimum volume fraction of polypropylene fibers; the mixes with 25, 50, 75 and 100% crushed ceramic yields to improve in the compressive strength by 18.4, 26.3, 21.2 and 14.8%, respectively compared to the mixes with crushed red brick as a recycled aggregate was observed.

Abstract: The isolation and characterization of an Oxime from n-Hexane extract of Azadirachta indica (Neem) leaves was done, using Urea and Thiourea adduction and Gas Chromatography Mass Spectroscopy techniques. The isolation was really accidental because in the analysis, the medium in which Oxime was isolated was supposed to be a waste, it could have been discarded and thrown away. Through curiosity the medium was evaluated for organic components in the medium. The analysis that followed using this medium now showed the presence of an Oxime. The analysis involved the dissolution of the crystal of the Thiourea adduct in distill water, followed by solvent extraction of the component with n-Hexane. This resulted in obtaining two immiscible solvents, n-Hexane and water. The upper layer solvent which is n-Hexane contains the Thiourea adduct while the water is supposed to contain nothing and supposed to be a waste. The two immiscible solvents were now poured into a separating funnel and were shaken vigoursly and allowed to stand. The Oxime was found in distil water which was separated with separating funnel. This accidental evaluation is a novel contribution to knowledge.

Abstract: Iran due to being in a particular geographical area was always in the focus of neighbors and adjacent communities that have in some cases led to armed conflict. Specific measures to protect and defend the government thought that the castle is one of the fundamental ways. More information about Parthian and Sasanian periods of historical data relative to previous periods, especially the western part is available. Baneh city located in Kurdistan province and west of Iran and is near the border with Iraq. Based on investigation in this study area, the dramatic increase of sites and particularly in the castles of the Parthian and Sasanian eras can be seen. These castles have common features such as use of rigid stone, oval plans, placed in strategic locations that are tall and overlook the routes of communication. Frequency of castles in specific geographic area represents importance of the region and its communication paths and military functions that the preservation and defense of the governments was important which historical texts confirm this issue as well.

ABSTRACT: This work was carried out in the course of a screening program for specific the bioactive substances that demonstrated inhibitory affects against microbial pathogenic, from actinomycetes strains. Ninety-seven actinomycete strains were isolated from fifty soil samples collected from Al-Khurmah governorate, kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Only one actinomycete culture from thirteen cultures was found exhibited to produce wide spectrum antimicrobial activities. The nucleotide sequence of the 16s RNA gene (1.5 Kb) of the most potent strain evidenced an 98% similarity with Streptomyces torulosus. From the taxonomic features, the actinomycetes isolate matches with Streptomyces torulosus in the morphological, physiological and biochemical characters. Thus, it was given the suggested name Streptomyces torulosus. The parameters controlling the biosynthetic process of antimicrobial agent formation including: different inoculum size, pH values, temperatures, incubation period and different carbon and nitrogen sources were fully investigates. The active metabolite was extracted using n-Butanol (1:1, v/v) at pH 7.0. The separation of the active ingredient and its purification was performed using both thin layer chromatography and column chromatography techniques. The physico-chemical characteristics of the purified antibiotic viz. color, melting point, solubility, elemental analysis, spectroscopic characteristics and chemical reactions have been investigated. This analysis indicates a suggested empirical formula of C38H62N4O16. The minimum inhibition concentrations "MICs" of the purified antimicrobial agent were also determined. The purified antimicrobial agent was suggestive of being belonging to Tunicamycin antibiotic produced by Streptomyces torulosus.

Abstract: The antimicrobial activities of n-Hexane extract and 5 Column Chromatography fractions, of Azadirachta indica A. juss (Neem) leaves, showed antimicrobial activities against human pathogenic bacteria (Salmonella typhi) and yeast fungus (Candida albicans). Antimicrobial properties of Azadirachta indica fractions were tested using ditchwell diffusion method. Analysis of the data projected that upon bioassay with n-Hexane neem leaves extract and 5 fractions of Column Chromatography zone of inhibition for Salmonella typhi observed was 17mm, 12mm, 5mm, 3mm and 11mm respectively. While for the yeast fungus Candida albicans the zones of inhibition, seen were 28mm, 25mm, 20mm, 3mm, 21mm and 20mm for Azadirachta indica, respectively. Results were compared to conventional drugs. GC/MS identified 45 bioactive compounds in the n-Hexane extract of Azadirachta indica leaves out of which 33 have antifungal activity. Conclusively based on the data analysis it can be said Azadirachta indica A. juss leaves extract have biological activity as good as the conventional drugs against such microorganisms.

Abstract: Management Information Systems (MIS) is the key factor to facilitate and attain efficient decision making in an organization. Management accounting can be viewed as Management-oriented Accounting. The term management accounting is composed of 'management' and 'accounting'. The word 'management' here does not signify only the top management but the entire personnel charged with the authority and responsibility of operating an enterprise. Management accounting combines accounting, finance and management with the leading edge techniques needed to drive successful businesses. Information systems are more likely to impact management accounting as ERP systems are hard to change once they are configured. That information systems are able to deliver support for management accounting is not a new idea. It is argued, on the other hand, that the first use of information systems was in relation to accounting.
