ABSTRACT: This study investigates the design and assessment of an automated solar-powered borehole for the Jalingo community. The system offers an intelligent method for monitoring water levels, presenting an efficient and cost-effective solution for water observation in local areas. It comprises a solar panel, a controller, a water level sensor, a submersible pump, and a borehole. The system monitors the water level in a tank and automatically activates or deactivates the pump based on the water level. Designed with a microcontroller and various components, including solar panels, sensors, and relays, the prototype was evaluated for its performance and accuracy. Results indicated that the system could effectively monitor and regulate the water level in the tank. Furthermore, a cost analysis revealed that the system is economical and feasible for construction in rural communities.

Abstract: A novel distribution called the Juchez Poisson distribution was proposed and studied. The distribution was developed by combining the Poisson and Juchez distributions, thereby making it more adaptable and better suited for analyzing complex datasets. Various statistical properties of the Poisson-Juchez distribution were derived. The model parameter was estimated using the method of maximum likelihood, where the asymptotic and consistent properties are numerically studied as well. The flexibility of this distribution was shown using simulation study; also, this newly developed distribution was demonstrated through its application to three real-life dataset on the number of Maternity lengths of stay in a clinic. The developed distribution was also compared with some existing Poisson-mixed distributions and the results showed that it performs better than other eleven Poisson-mixed distributions considered, thereby offering a more precise description of the data. This distribution shows a high efficiency when compared with other one parameter distributions. The findings thus show that Poisson-Juchez Distribution is a flexible and effective alternative for modeling count data, especially in situations involving overdispersion and other types of data variability in several fields.

Abstract: The purpose of the study is to assess Emotional Intelligence (EI), Perceived Stress (PS) among the students of Hotel Management, and their relations with their academic achievement.  The questionnaire adapted from Philip Hunsaker’s “Training in management skills” and stress questionnaire developed by the International Stress Management Association were administered to students of hotel and tourism and results were analyzed using Pearson's Coefficient of correlation, Linear regression, Independent T –Test, Two way ANOVA. The result showed majority of students having lower stress and high emotional intelligence and higher academic achievement. The correlation between Emotional Intelligence and Perceived stress with CGPA was weak and positive. The study also found that 0.007% students out of the total have high stress level which is negligible.

Abstract: There are many mysteries and unsolved issues in the monsoonal climate and Weather systems that cannot explain and solve. I proposed and designed the Basics of Monsoon Time Scales for all world global, regional, local monsoon systems along with countries for unraveling the mysteries of climate, weather, monsoons; studying the characteristics of mechanism of climate, weather and monsoons and exercising the benefits of mankind and development of monsoonal climate and weather sciences.  According to the researches and studies on the Monsoon Time Scales, it is known that there will be major global climate changes in the coming years "i.e"  heavy rains, floods and storms etc. will occur until about 2075 and there will be droughts and famines etc. until about 2150. Through the establishment of Monsoon Time Scales, we can know the future consequences of the climate changes. Plans can be made accordingly. So, scientists can establish the Monsoon Time Scale and predict what is going to happen in the monsoonal climate in the coming years roughly. I call on the world scientists to design and establish the Monsoon Time Scales following the Basics of Monsoon Time Scales outlined below, based on the India Monsoon Time Scale which is successfully proved out in practice. Indo-Australian monsoon is a key system in  global monsoon systems. I have conducted many scientific researches on this monsoon system  and as a part these researches, I proposed and designed the Basics of Indo-Australian Monsoon Time Scale  which can help to study the past, present and future conditions of the Indo-Australian monsoon. In the current year 2022, the pre-path of Indian summer monsoon was traveling upwards and reached to the 29th June. Below this, the main-path of Indian summer monsoon also traveled upwards parallel to the pre-path of Indian summer monsoon with a difference of about 30 days and reached to the 29th July, As it moves further up, changes in the climate are likely increasing and there are more chances of heavy rains and floods in the coming years.
